PAD10 | International Arts Carnival 2024: Fields of Tender Dance Performance for School by Dalija Acin Thelander (Sweden) (Completed)parent

About the Programme

Based on multi-year academic research into dance for the neurodiverse, Dalija Acin Thelander, winner of The ASSITEJ International Award for Artistic Excellence 2021, has created this choreographed installation for children with special needs.  All children, regardless of their abilities, are welcome to join the exploration and taste the essence of performing arts.

In this caring and gentle dreamlike world, the dancers open their arms to embrace each unique and curious child who arrives. They can freely explore, daydream, and even come and go as they please within the venue.  Unrestricted, they can immerse themselves in this place that combines dance, music, sensory props, and interactive visuals.  Within this peaceful space, they will experience the most comfortable state and a loving atmosphere.
