Session One: "Lost and SoundHong Kong Intangible Cultural Heritage" Exhibition Series

This exhibition comprises three themes: Hong Kong Festivals and Traditional Craftsmanship,  Ordinary Extraordinary, and Sam Tung Uk and Traditional Village Culture. The exhibition is presented in an innovative way with the use of multimedia. Students will appreciate and learn about local ICH came across in their daily lives and on special occasions.

Session Two: Demonstration of Traditional Betrothal Cake Making

The ritual of "presenting betrothal presents" is an important part of the traditional wedding ceremony. There are many kinds of traditional betrothal cakes, one of the presents; each represents a wish for a happy marriage. A veteran baker will explain and demonstrate the technique for making betrothal cakes to enhance the students’ understanding of this ICH item.
