PAD07 | Rehearsal of Swan Lake (excerpts) by Hong Kong Ballet

About the Programme

Majestic castles, ethereal swan maidens and lots of magic!  An enchanted love story inspired by Russian and German folk tales, Swan Lake remains the quintessential classical ballet for generations of ballet lovers.  With its trademark energy and sophisticated choreography, Hong Kong Ballet will have the thrilling world premiere of his dazzling Swan Lake.

Prince Siegfried becomes smitten with gentle White Swan Odette during a chance encounter in the woods, and it's a heart-pounding race against time to break the evil sorcerer Von Rothbart's curse before the cunning Black Swan Odile prevails.  Set to Tchaikovsky's timeless, soaring score, this captivating tale of love, betrayal and redemption will inspire awe and wonder with its sublime dancing, extravagant sets, glittering tutus and internationally renowned guest artists.
