M10b | Art Talk – Pete Man (Completed)parent

vA! is a hub for sharing of knowledge. In this series of talk, we invite local veteran artists and scholars to stimulate your thoughts on certain topics and pursue the profound knowledge of the art world together.

Pete Man is a Hong Kong collector of Japanese antiques. Before opening his antique store, he was a creative director and a researcher in archaeological culture, with thorough and unique understanding of Japanese aesthetics, architecture and interior design. Influenced by his aunt who collects antique art, he has been enchanted with old collectibles and their cultural and historical origins since adolescence. His antique collection includes trinkets, ceramics, woodworks and vintage furniture. Pete continues to promote Japanese antiques and conserve aged furniture.
