The atomic bomb dropped on the city of Hiroshima and left devastation that was felt for decades.  Director Patrick Lung Kong explores its aftermath with this sobering drama.  After learning that her father is a survivor of the Hiroshima bombing, a Japanese woman (Josephine Siao), becomes an activist to raise awareness about the effects carried over to a new generation that had nothing to do with the war.  Filmed on location in Hiroshima - the film opens with a montage of the cast at an event commemorating the 28th anniversary of the bombing - Hiroshima 28 is a powerful anti-war drama with a poignant universal message.
