Teachers can select activities according to the interest of their students and freely guide them through the exhibits in the Museum.

Activity 1: Science Demonstration (Compulsory)
(Activity for all students. Each session is about 20 minutes.)

The Ball Party
How do you make a balloon fly?  What makes a bouncy ball bounce?  Why are soap bubbles round?  This demonstration introduces various interesting scientific phenomena using balloons, several types of balls and soap bubbles which young children encounter in their daily life.

*Activity 2: Sound and Music Workshop
(Each session is about 30 minutes.)

We hear a variety of sounds around us every day.  How is sound created?  How can we control the loudness of sound?  How is sound transmitted?  Young children can learn more about the science of sound through this interactive workshop.

*Activity 3: Science Excursion
(Each session is about 30 minutes.  Schools can select to visit at most one gallery.)

Conducted by experienced docents, the tour aims to arouse children’s interest in science through explanation of and engagement with the interactive exhibits.

*The activities are arranged with quotas and on a first come, first served basis.  The Museum will inform participating schools about details of the arrangement at a later date.
