Guided Tour
The exhibition showcases renowned artists and their lesser-known works from HKMoA’s four core collections: Chinese Antiquities, Chinese Painting and Calligraphy, China Trade Art, Modern and Hong Kong Art.  While appreciating collections that are usually out of the spotlight, students can also learn about the turning points in these artists’ creative journey, as well as important findings of China trade painting cross-sectional study, breakthroughs in artefact decorative skills, and the relationship between art collector’s vision and art succession.  In addition, local designer Choi Kim-hung was invited to be the lead artist of this exhibition, and he worked with seven contemporary local artists to illustrate changes that they and others are experiencing now with works of different media, so as to inspire students to reflect upon the meaning of “change”.
