The activity is about “Magical Clay”.  Through games, experiments and guided exhibition tours, students can explore the relationship between natural materials used, craftsmanship and artefacts, with the aim to discover the beauty of ceramics.  The instructor will first share with students some observation skills and basics of ceramics.  Next, students will be taken to T.T. Tsui Gallery of Chinese Art for a guided tour.  The highlight is about porcelain as a craft over various dynasties in China.  The exhibits range from those of New Stone Age to the 20th Century, while representative with types and styles diversified.  Students can come to know Chinese culture more through the invaluable exhibits that showcase the essence of Chinese porcelain making.
