Mei Yan is an 80-years-old lady who tells children one story after another; story about flowers, about good human qualities: love, patience, honesty and courage, about her grandfather. Using the presentation format of interactive story theatre, the performance integrates with different elements, including poetry, puppets, traditional children’s folk rhymes and paper-made props, that can inspire children's imagination and their perception of beauty and let them feel the power of arts to achieve aesthetic education.

Established in 2018, Joyful Theatre is dedicated to promote interactive story theatre for children to enjoy the fun of story listening, enhance their sensitivity in daily life, be inspired to have hope, and to feel the integrity, kindness and beauty of human nature. In recent years, the group has been developing baby theatre, aiming to stimulate the curiosity of young audience and their ability to explore with different senses, so as to instill their understanding of the theatre and cultivate their sense of aesthetics.
