M11d | Guided Tour on Mythologies: Surrealism and Beyond – Masterpieces from Centre Pompidou (Completed)parent

 (Additional Programme)

Surrealism was a cultural movement developed in Europe in 1920s.  The age of surrealism was a time full of bizarre, dreamy imagery and unsettling juxtapositions.  Presented in collaboration with the Centre Pompidou and Le French May and featuring around 80 diverse works of art, the exhibition explores the surrealist world by focusing on this influential art movement’s associations with mythologies.  Works by major artists such as Dali, Magritte, Miro, Man Ray and Jackson Pollock will be showcased to highlight the international nature and scope of the surrealists and provide a comprehensive picture of how the movement developed.

Remark: The programme is conducted in Cantonese/English/Mandarin.
