Hong Kong International Chamber Music Festival 2017 – Education Concert (Completed)

Programme offered by Premiere Performances of Hong Kong in support of the "2016/17 Arts Experience Scheme for Senior Secondary Students" (For school purchase only)

The Hong Kong International Chamber Music Festival was first launched in 2009 and it will be the 8th Festival in January 2017. Since 2012, world renowned violinist, LIN Cho-liang, has been the Artistic Director of the Festival till now. Over the years, the Festival has introduced to the Hong Kong audiences many unforgettable chamber music pieces which performed by our high . To further promote chamber music to the young audiences, it will be the first time the Festival to tailor-made a concert for students.

Programme Content

This student concert is part of the 8th Hong Kong International Chamber Music Festival. The Festival artists will be world renowned soloists and chamber music professionals. The students will experience a world-class quality concert with a variety of repertories in this specific music form. Confirmed artists for the 2017 Festival include: Artistic Director LIN Cho-liang (violin), Borromeo Quartet, Brett Dean (viola), Brian Chen (viola), Kristin Lee (violin), Cecile Licad (piano) and Haochen Zhang (piano) etc.

The programme will be one and a half hours, including performance and Q & A session. The performance will be conducted in English with interpretation in Cantonese.
