PAT01 | The Mysterious Laboratory by JAM Island Theatre (In Cantonese) (Completed)parentparent

The Mysterious Laboratory is about a lonely and isolated scientist who opens his mind and learns to get along with the others after meeting a 'witch', a 'frankenstein' and a 'ghost'. Eventually, being inspired by the 'ghost', he puts on the mechanical wings to leave his confined home and start a new life. The main theme of the story is "No matter what our age is, just be courageous and take a step, untapped possibilities are waiting for us!” By using multimedia and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) props as well as having scientific demonstrations on stage, the performance will provide an unique and original STEAM theatrical experience to students and inspire their imagination. JAM Island Theatre is an up-and-coming non-profit professional arts group in Hong Kong. It was founded by graduates from the Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts and professional engineers. They focus on using different technologies and music in their productions. With body, multimedia technology, they aim to merge technology, performing arts and music together and produce unique and original interactive STEAM theatre. * Special thanks for advice from the Kindergarten and Primary Section, Science Education Section of Curriculum Development Institute of the Education Bureau.
