Founded in 1951, the state-level China National Opera & Dance Drama Theater is a long-standing and large-scale arts group engaged with the composition and staging of national opera and dance dramas.  Since its founding, the Theatre has adhered to its mission of preservation and innovation, having created and staged over a hundred operas and dance dramas.  The arts group had been invited for touring performances all over the world, and won plaudits from audiences and all walks of life for its legendary works, sophisticated performance and top-notch artistic personnel.

This dance drama featured the story of two generations of start-up entrepreneurs living in the Huangpu area of Guangdong Province, outlined the opening up and reform in China, its social development, as well as the opportunities and challenges that start-up entrepreneurs encountered.  Applying modern dance as its axis, the dancers transcended their physical limit and delivered expression to emotions with their movements.  Skillful use of multimedia and lighting created a multi-layered, dynamic visual space in an impressive blend of contemporary and tech-savvy elements.
