M08 | A Journey to the Ping Shan Tang Clan Gallery (In Cantonese) (Some sessions cancelled) 

Ping Shan of Yuen Long has a long history. Settled in Ping Shan as early as the 12th Century, the Tang Clan has been one of the major clans in the New Territories. In 2007, the Ping Shan Tang Clan Gallery was opened to the public. Let’s go through the Gallery with our docents to learn about the history and culture of the Tang Clan and the New Territories. Our docents will also brief the students how to make the paper model of the Old Ping Shan Police Station built in 1900, where now the Gallery stands.

Remarks: After the programme, participants will bring home the materials to make their own paper models.
