Various types of traditional Chinese buildings are preserved in Hong Kong, including temples, ancestral halls, study halls and residences. Their backgrounds, functions and decorations were influenced by traditions and customs, while architectural features are both functional and artistic. Through interactive games, this workshop will reveal the history and different structural features of Chinese built heritage in Hong Kong.
