About the Project

The project integrates three vibrant themes: intangible cultural heritage, inclusive arts, and marine conservation.  Through engaging activities, it promotes local culture and invites the public to experience Cantonese opera, enhancing understanding of traditional performing arts and local history.  It also creates an inclusive stage that incorporates elements of Cantonese opera, puppetry, and shadow play, offering the audiences with a creative and culturally rich artistic experience.​

The project is also one of the activities in the Chinese Culture Promotion Series.  The LCSD has all along promoted Chinese history and culture through organising an array of programmes and activities to enable the public learn more about broad and profound Chinese culture.  For more information, please visit www.lcsd.gov.hk/en/ccpo/index.html.
