About the Activity

Located at the town centre of Tai Po, the Tai Po Civic Centre (TPCC) has been providing diverse cultural services for the community of Tai Po since its official opening in September 1985.  In order to enhance the TPCC's cultural facilities and services, it has undergone facility upgrading works since 2021.  The upgraded TPCC is equipped with major facilities including a 644-seat auditorium, a black box theatre with a maximum capacity of 130 and a foyer exhibition area, two function rooms are also provided.

This workshop includes an introduction to basic stage setting and operation by the stage management team, together with demonstrations of various lighting effects and an interactive session to enable students to let their imaginations fly and turn ideas into amazing special stage effects.  Are you ready to discover the secrets of backstage?
