About the Programme

To promote Chinese culture, the Chinese Culture Festival presents "Chinese Culture for All: A Special Performance Series" for students, offering them a chance to experience firsthand the magnificence of Chinese cultural artistry.

This year, the Chinese Opera Festival features a special screening of the Yu Opera film Mu Guiying Takes Command.  This work is a representative piece by the Yu Opera master Ma Jinfeng and is considered a classic centered on loyalty and righteousness.  This prodocution showcases how Mu Guiying led by the venerable Lady She, courageously fight against their enemies, exemplifying the spirit of loyalty and bravery.  Through this timeless masterpiece, students will have the opportunity to appreciate the rich traditions and essence of Chinese opera.
