About the Programme 

This is a canvas where calligraphy and music intertwine.  Young audiences will wander the intersection of visual and performing arts, savoring the taste of contemporary Asian artistry.  Pakistani-origin artist Tazeen Qayyum is going to improvise on the spot, fluid brushstrokes dance on the "canvas" of the Middle Eastern melodies and jazz, played by Aga Khan music programme masters Feras Charestan and Basel Rajoub, showcasing the graceful beauty of Arabic script, including Urdu, Arabic, and Persian.  Come immerse in the Middle Eastern rhythms and brushwork, and let them wash away your daily worries!
