M04a | Exploring Hong Kong in Dr Sun Yat-sen's Time

The programme consists of two parts:

Museum docents or staff will lead students on a guided tour of the permanent exhibition "Hong Kong in Dr Sun Yat-sen's Time".  Students will come to understand the connections between Hong Kong's history, revolutionary activities and the self-strengthening movements in China.  Working in small groups, students will act as "junior docents": each group will select key exhibits they consider essential and prepare a short presentation to share and discuss with other groups.

Following the presentation, students will produce ceremonial coins bearing an image of Dr Sun to reinforce their learning and deepen their appreciation of this topic.
