The discovery of the Lei Cheng Uk Han tomb was accidental. In 1955, while leveling a hillside in Sham Shui Po, the government unearthed this ancienttomb from the Eastern Han dynasty (25-220 AD), and discovered a number of burial artefacts, providing valuable clues for the study of southern societyand culture during the Han dynasty. This Han tomb is a testament to the connection between the cultures of South China and the Central Plains. Through guided tours, students can gain a deeper understanding of the historical background of the Han dynasty, the tomb structure, and the unearthedartefacts, and learn about the cultural characteristics of South China during the Han dynasty.
