Hong Kong Dance Company - In Between Wu Guanzhong's Ink Odyssey Performance cum Post-performance Meet-the-Artists Session 


The programme is offered by Hong Kong Dance Company in support of the 'Exploring the Theatre: Arts Experience Scheme for Senior Secondary Students 2025/26' (For school group booking only)

Programme Contents

Wu Guanzhong's artwork is celebrated for its minimalist compositions and vibrant colours, highlighting the elegance of shapes and lines.  He skillfully merges traditional Chinese ink painting techniques with Western oil painting methods to develop a distinctive style.  Hong Kong Dance Company has drawn inspiration from Wu's works for a major dance piece titled 'In Between —Wu Guanzhong’s Ink Odyssey'', choreographed and coordinated by Artistic Director Yang Yuntao.
