The programme is offered by Hong Kong Dance Company in support of the "New to the Theatre: School Culture Day Scheme 2025/26".

About the Programme

The "Twenty-Four Solar Terms" is a strict temporal order rooted in traditional Chinese philosophical thought.  Following the passage of the seasons, the ancients ploughed in spring, cultivated in summer, harvested in autumn, and stored up food in winter.  With the transitions of the solar terms, nature comes alive in glorious colours and fragrances.  This spectacular performance captivates the senses with stunning visual, auditory and lighting effects, and an atmospheric olfactory experience.  Moving through the cycles of time and life, and ultimately returning to consciousness.  Come and experience this inspirational dance journey with us!
