Oriented towards traditional Chinese stories and modern musical style, combining various modern drama elements, Musical Ancient Chinese Gods of Honor will give audience a fresh new touch of traditional story and an enjoyable musical performance, catching a glimpse of the origins of our own culture simultaneously.

The story is based on the deeds of Jiang Ziya, a historical figure in ancient China during the late Shang and early Zhou dynasties.  Jiang Ziya was an official during the Shang Dynasty, yet he resigned due to the fact that he no longer bear King Zhou's tyranny. After returning home with demoralization, a team of gods were worried and hoping he could pull himself together and mastered the art of Taoism that eventually lead them to achieve the legendary "Investiture of the Gods". Thereupon, the gods encouraged Jiang Ziya with all they might in enlightening him to acquire good skills that he could make significant contributions to the people and lived wonderfully ever after.
