About the Artist Ensemble

MCTA (Musze can trigger anything) is a performing arts group founded by Lau Yin-kwan, Tung Chung-can and Sze Yin-ting in 2021.  The trio emphasise human experience in their works and imbue them with positive messages to present the fusion of life and art.  In their creative endeavours, they seek to explore the infinite possibilities of dance, producing pure and unique works that foster in-depth dialogue between the audience and the art.

About the Project

A gathering place for casual conversations, the tea house/herbal tea shop used to be a popular recreational place for the public.  It is currently facing the threat of extinction due to rapid development, in order to perpetuate this place that carries unique folk wisdom and traditional culture, 'Tea House' aims to rearrange and reinterpret the once-beloved classic Hong Kong music through the integration of diverse forms of performing arts, including music, dance and theatre, in a bid to rediscover and showcase Hong Kong's cultural essence.
