About the Artist Ensemble

Comprising four arts education practitioners, the ensemble uses drama-in-education as a starting point for exploring parent-child relationships, values and life education through thematic touring performances and workshops.  The ensemble believes that as long as we hold positive values in life, we can definitely find solutions to any challenges and understand ourselves better in the process.  The ensemble seeks, through performing arts, to promote whole-person education and provide more opportunities for the public to be engaged in arts.  With the aid of arts, the ensemble encourages members of the community to observe and care about everyone and everything around so as to foster social harmony and inclusion.

About the Project

By presenting theatre art and an array of parent-child games, Beryl's Journey Drama in Family Education Programme serves to improve parent-child understanding while enhancing the quality and depth of parent-child relationships.  It promotes certain parenting concepts, such as an appreciation of the uniqueness of every child, and the need of mutual respect between parents and children.  With a focus on the family as the starting point, the programme aims to build enhanced positive family relationships, and make them the basis for a harmonious society in the long run.
