We sometimes call the Hong Kong Museum of History an “ancient treasure box”. So what are the ancient treasures we keep in this box? This programme starts with a visit to “The Best Features of the Hong Kong Story” exhibition, where students can learn about Hong Kong antiquities from the prehistoric era to modern times by listening carefully to the guide’s explanations and exploring Hong Kong people’s livelihoods and social and economic conditions in the territory at different periods in the past. At the end of the visit, students will get to take some quizzes about ancient artefacts, where they will need to co-operate with each other to obtain the password to unlock the “mysterious treasure box”.
